What's new in Kelrik
Kelrik Terminal is in early access and moves fast. Here's what landed recently.
Web
Kelrik moves to kelrik.app
- New address. The website, accounts and the web app now live at kelrik.app. Links to kelrik.lucheestiy.com redirect here.
- Nothing to reconfigure. Apps, the API and notify URLs on the old address keep working. New notify URLs use kelrik.app.
- Sign in once more on the web. Browsers keep sign-ins per address, so the web app asks you to sign in again at kelrik.app.
Web
Kelrik on the web, and integrations
- Kelrik accounts at kelrik.lucheestiy.com. Sign up, sign in, manage devices, change your password or delete your account, using the same end-to-end vault encryption as the apps.
- Integrations. Notifications in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, ntfy or signed webhooks, sent by per-host notify keys.
- Claude Code and Codex hooks. Paste one block and get pinged when an agent finishes or needs a permission.
- Three months of Pro for every new account.
Build 10
Commands as blocks, and a better touch experience
- Commands as blocks. Each command and its output becomes a card with its exit status, in bash, zsh and fish, through a small shell hook. Never on Production hosts.
- Long-press menus on iPhone and iPad for hosts, groups, tabs, files and tunnels, and a pencil on host rows to edit without connecting.
- Touch selection. Hold a finger on the terminal to select a word, then Copy, Line, All or Paste.
- Finger scrolling with momentum, maximize that fills the window, and × to close a session.
- Change password in Settings → Account; your vault key is re-encrypted on the device.
- Safe uploads: a file only replaces the old one once it has fully arrived.
- Nerd Font icons in prompts with any terminal font, and a terminal that blends into Kelrik's surface.
- The rail shrinks, then hides; the top bar can hide too. On iPad, ⌘ . sends Esc.
Builds 1–6
Termius parity, sync and the web app
- Import from Termius: hosts, groups, identities, snippets and themes, read-only and decrypted on your Mac. Running it again updates instead of duplicating.
- End-to-end encrypted sync across Mac, iPhone and iPad, and the web app with its SSH gateway.
- Group inheritance, identities, jump chains and proxies, 47 themes, and rebindable shortcuts with a Termius preset.
- Local terminal tabs on the desktop, a lock passcode, and snippets that run on many hosts (Production asks first).
- Dead connections are found, not waited for: Kelrik checks when the app returns and reconnects, marking the spot with a “Reconnected” divider.
- On iPhone: an extra-keys row with sticky Ctrl and Alt, and no stray form bar above the keyboard.
